Pack & Play is launching for the 2026 Finals Series

THE AFL's newest mini-game is coming.

Launching for the 2026 Finals Series, Pack & Play adds another layer of excitement to every match, giving fans the chance to open digital player packs, discover which players they've unlocked and follow the action in a whole new way.

What is it?

Pack & Play is a new match-by-match game running throughout this year's AFL Finals Series, beginning in Wildcard Round.

For every Finals match, you'll be able to open a digital player pack and reveal a unique selection of players to choose from as you build your team of six. Players are grouped across a range of categories that change from match to match, from 'Stars' and 'Veterans' to 'Young Guns', 'Playmakers' and more.

Every pack presents a different mix of players, creating new combinations and new decisions every game.

Once your team is set, sit back and watch the action unfold as your players score points using official AFL Fantasy scoring.

To add another layer of excitement, every coach receives three flips per match, giving them the opportunity to reveal new player options.

With fresh packs, changing categories and new players to uncover every match, Pack & Play adds another layer of excitement to every game of the AFL Finals.

How does it work?

For every AFL Finals match, fans receive a fresh digital pack to open.

The excitement starts with the reveal, with each pack containing a unique mix of players across six categories.

Choose one player from each category to build your team of six, then watch the action unfold as your side scores live points throughout the game.

Whether you're following every match of the Finals Series or simply jumping into the games that interest you most, every match is a new opportunity to compete, climb the rankings and challenge your mates.

Want to roll the dice on a different option?

Every coach receives three flips per match, allowing them to swap out players and reveal new selections before lockout.

With packs generated at random, every match offers a fresh experience and a new team-building challenge.
