SYDNEY has welcomed back Brodie Grundy and Dane Rampe to face Essendon, Carlton vice-captain Jacob Weitering returns and West Coast has rested young midfielder Bo Allan.

Grundy and Rampe replace Hayden McLean and Lewis Melican for the Swans' trip to the MCG to take on the last-placed Bombers, who have lost gun mid Sam Durham to injury but include forward Harry Jones and ruck Nick Bryan among three changes.

Weitering comes in for Lewis Young in the Blues' only change against the Dogs, who will be without skipper Marcus Bontempelli and ruck Tim English for the pivotal clash.

And West Coast has made just one change to the team that lost narrowly to Richmond last weekend, resting Allan and recalling mobile forward Hamish Davis to face GWS.

The Giants have lost injured pair Jayden Laverde and Xavier O'Halloran, with Cody Angove and Toby McMullin coming into the side.
