SYDNEY players in the men's and women's programs trained at the SCG on Wednesday after the club handed down season-ending suspensions to five male players.

Riley Bice, Nick Blakey, Isaac Heeney, James Jordon and Chad Warner have been banned for the rest of the season for their involvement in a alleged incident in Melbourne early on Monday morning, which is now the subject of a police investigation.

The remainder of the Swans men's squad trained at the SCG on Wednesday ahead of their round 24 match against North Melbourne on Sunday.

That game will be part of a double header with the women's side, who also trained on Wednesday ahead of their game against Essendon.
