FANS have gone against All Australian selectors, with North Melbourne young gun Harry Sheezel picked on the bench in the combined All Australian Fan 23.
Over the past few weeks, more than 30,000 footy fans have picked their All Australian teams for 2026 using our Team Selector ahead of the announcement of the official team on Tuesday night.

Sheezel was a surprise omission from the official 46-player squad announced on Monday and clearly fans disagree, with the young Roo earning enough votes to win the final spot on the bench in the most popular fan team.
There was no room for Aliir Aliir in the Fan 23, with Harris Andrews, Alex Pearce and Cal Wilkie the three tall defenders, while Charlie Curnow, Josh Treacy and Logan Morris are the three talls in attack.
Max Gawn got the most votes as the No.1 ruckman, although Luke Jackson got more votes overall and has earned a spot on the bench as his Fremantle side led the way with a total of five selections.
Along with Aliir, those who just missed out selection were his Port Adelaide teammate Zak Butters, midfield pair Lachie Neale and Patrick Cripps, veteran forward Jack Gunston, Greater Western Sydney defender Lachie Ash and Geelong wingman Ollie Dempsey.
In a seperate poll, Gawn was the most popular choice as captain, winning 27 per cent of the vote to finish ahead of Jordan Dawson (24 per cent), while Marcus Bontempelli picked up 19 per cent.
There are five differences between the fan team and the team put together by AFL.com.au's experts on Tuesday; Aliir, Ash, Dempsey, Butters and Jai Newcombe are in the AFL.com.au team but not the fan team, while Sheezel, Shai Bolton, Murphy Reid, Max Holmes and Alex Pearce won a spot in the fan team but not the AFL.com.au team.
The official 23-player team will be announced at the AFL Awards ceremony on Tuesday night.
