Midfielder Elijah Tsatas made the most of one of his final games ahead of contract negotiations, racking up 32 disposals and eight clearances in Essendon’s 45-point win over Williamstown on Saturday.

Will Setterfield was also amongst it with 23 disposals, eight clearances and one goal as he hopes for an extension to the one-year deal he signed as an SSP addition last pre-season.

Nik Cox made the most of his opportunities with three goals from nine touches, while Jade Gresham (10 disposals), Hussien El Achkar (11) and Liam McMahon (eight) each finished with two goals.

Vigo Visentini was strong in the ruck with 36 hitouts and 11 disposals.

There was no shortage of senior Bombers in action with the club’s AFL season now finished.

Jayden Nguyen was busy with 15 touches and a goal, Angus Clarke also slotted a major from his 18 touches, as did Rhys Unwin from 13.

Zak Johnson had 17 disposals, Max Kondogiannis finished with 16, while Saad El-Hawli found the ball 14 times.

Mid-season pick up Jaxon Artemis took seven marks with his 12 touches, Harrison Jones got plenty of it with 17 disposals, Cillian Bourke finished with 10 and Matt Guelfi had seven.

With just two senior games under his belt this season Mitch Knevitt is still keeping his name in front of selectors ahead of finals, putting in a big performance in Geelong’s 23-point win over Tasmania on Saturday.

Knevitt racked up an equal team-high 30 disposals, laid six tackles and kicked two goals.

Jack Bowes (five clearances) and George Stevens (nine clearances and one goal) were also prominent with 30 touches each.

Young duo Jacob Molier (11 disposals, six marks) and Jesse Mellor (eight touches) kicked two goals apiece, while Cillian Burke (14) and Nick Driscoll (13) slotted one each.

Ruckman Joe Pike also kicked a goal to go with 13 disposals, 31 hitouts and eight clearances in a strong outing.

Lennox Hofmann was busy with 21 touches and seven marks, Hunter Holmes found the ball 16 times, veteran Jed Bews had 10 disposals and Keighton Matofai-Forbes finished with 13.

After a stop-start season where he has managed just five senior games, Calsher Dear kicked four goals in Box Hill’s 13-point win over Werribee on Saturday to keep his name in contention for an AFL recall during finals.

Sam Butler kicked three majors and gathered 22 disposals in a performance that will also have him in Sam Mitchell’s eyes..

First-year forward Cam Nairn impressed with one goal from 23 disposals and nine marks, with fellow 2025 draftee Oliver Greeves also slotting a goal among his 26 touches and seven clearances.

Finn Maginness matched Greeves for disposals and clearances with 26 and seven, while Matthew LeRay (24 touches) and Will McCabe (23 and nine marks) also got amongst the action.

Ned Reeves (12 disposals, 36 hitouts) and Max Ramsden (14 and 12) each kicked one goal while sharing ruck duties.

Henry Hustwaite helped the Hawks to possession domination with 25 of his own including a game-high 10 clearances, Flynn Perez had 20 touches and Jack Dalton kicked one goal from his 16 disposals.

Matt Hill (13 touches) and Aidan Schubert (seven) also slotted a goal apiece.

Other Hawks in action included Noah Mraz (14 disposals, 10 marks), James Blanck (11 touches) and Bodie Ryan (13).

Corey Warner put his hand up for a return for Sydney's AFL finals campaign with a strong performance in the Swans' heavy defeat to Port Melbourne on Saturday.

Warner had 27 disposals and nine tackles in an eye-catching performance as the Swans ponder their selection options for their qualifying final against Brisbane next week, minus the five players missing due to suspension.

Hayden McLean kicked two goals in his return from concussion while Lewis Melican had just six disposals in defence on his return from a back issue, with both also a chance for a senior return next week.

Elsewhere, youngster Ned Bowman impressed with 27 disposals and six tackles, while Jevan Phillipou kicked another two goals to continue his strong patch of form.

Patrick Snell and Malcolm Rosas, who were AFL emergencies in round 24, both got involved, with Snell having 11 disposals and five tackles and Rosas having eight disposals, five tackles and two behinds in front of goal.
