There will be at least one forced change after Taylor suffered a hamstring injury against Greater Western Sydney, with Callum Ah Chee shaping as the likely replacement after being managed for the final home and away game. Peatling missed the clash against GWS with hip and groin soreness and was managed across the week off, but he hasn't progressed enough to play this week. Key defender Jordon Butts has recovered well from an ankle injury and is available. Midfielder Billy Dowling (30 disposals and seven clearances) was the standout player in the Crows' final SANFL match, while rebounding defenders Mitch Hinge and Oscar Ryan are on the cusp of selection. – Nathan Schmook

The only decision for Chris Fagan ahead of facing Sydney at the SCG on Saturday afternoon is who makes way for McCluggage. The co-captain is a certain inclusion should he get through training on Thursday, with no obvious player to replace. The Lions are loaded with depth should any late hiccups occur with Bruce Reville, Dan Annable, Keidean Coleman, Linc McCarthy and Will McLachlan all on standby. - Michael Whiting

The Blues will put Hayward and Haynes through fitness tests ahead of Friday night's elimination final against the Cats. Wade Derksen was an emergency last week and will be on standby in case Haynes doesn't get up, but an omission for Hayward is less clear if he's able to return. Ollie Hollands has been impressive in his absence, while Lewis Young is a chance to go out in a move that would see Harry McKay take on more of the ruck duties. Jack Ison and Liam Reidy were the other emergencies last week. - Riley Beveridge

PLAYER INJURY ESTIMATED RETURN
Brennan Cox Calf 1-2 weeks

The Dockers will be boosted by at least four best 23 players as Jye Amiss, Heath Chapman and Sam Switkowski prepare to return after being managed in the final home-and-away game. Murphy Reid has also recovered from a knock to the groin region and will play. Key defender Oscar McDonald will play back to cover the injury to Brennan Cox after being tried forward, while Mason Cox will hold his spot in the ruck. The match committee will then decide whether small defender Brandon Walker, versatile midfielder Corey Wagner, or veteran wingman Jaeger O'Meara come into the team, with the Dockers needing to find the right match-up for Hawthorn superstar Nick Watson. – Nathan Schmook

Holmes completed full training this week, including Tuesday's main session, and will have his availability assessed ahead of team selection later in the week. Wiltshire is available for the elimination final against Carlton after recovering from a foot injury, while the club continues to work through Jake Kolodjashnij’s availability for both AFL and VFL finals. Racing the clock to feature again this season, Worpel continues to build his running load and is expected to integrate into modified training next week. Meanwhile, Stanley returned to running this week, making positive progress and narrowing his return window to 1-3 weeks. - Emily Patterson

Ned Reeves Larynx TBC
Jack Scrimshaw Knee TBC

Scrimshaw and Reeves have been added to this week's injury list but Sam Mitchell will have almost a full squad to choose from for Thursday's clash with Fremantle. Ginnivan missed the trip to Perth in round 24 due to a back issue but trained on Tuesday and is expected to face the Dockers. Jack Dalton replaced Ginnivan and is set to be the unlucky one to be squeezed out, with Max Beattie locked in to play after impressing with 2.2 against the Eagles in his second game. Calsher Dear and Sam Butler were included in the squad against West Coast. - Josh Gabelich

Amartey and McInerney are in a race against time to be fit for finals. Amartey has successfully resumed full team training, completing key benchmarks, and will undergo a fitness test to be cleared for Saturday's qualifying final against Brisbane. McInerney has also returned to full team training, ramping up his workload as he remains on track to return next week. Meanwhile, Bowman suffered a minor hamstring injury during the weekend's VFL match. He has pulled up well and will enter a short period of rehabilitation, with his return timeline yet to be confirmed. McLean returned from concussion via the VFL, kicking two goals in the defeat to Port Melbourne, while Melican collected just six disposals in defence on his return from a back issue, leaving both in contention for a senior recall. Ladhams continues to focus on strength and movement control while letting his groin symptoms settle. Although his return had depended on reaching key rehabilitation milestones, he has now been ruled out for the remainder of the season. - Emily Patterson

Baker strained his hamstring at training last week and will be out for at least the next few weeks. Liberatore remains sidelined after minor knee surgery. Aaron Naughton copped a knock to his hip last week and is banged up but not considered in any doubt. Nick Coffield, Lachy Carmichael, Luke Cleary, Lachie McNeil and Jordan Croft are all on the fringe of selection at the moment. - Josh Gabelich
