The Blues will be without Nick Haynes, who has not recovered from an ankle injury, while Will Hayward (ankle) has also failed to get up.
Sydney has left Joel Amartey out of its 23 for Saturday's qualifying final against Brisbane, despite the key forward overcoming an Achilles injury.
Hayden McLean has been recalled to play in the forward line alongside Charlie Curnow and Logan McDonald and offer ruck support to Brodie Grundy.
Youngster Ty Gallop is the unlucky Lion to make way for returning co-captain Hugh McCluggage.
In Saturday night's second elimination final at Adelaide Oval, the Crows have named Callum Ah Chee, who was rested for the final home and away match, to replace Zac Taylor (hamstring).
Will Lewis comes in for the Western Bulldogs in place of Matt Kennedy, who is in the concussion protocols.
