THE BEST players in the land wound down after a night to remember at Thursday's Virgin Australia AFL All Australian Awards by chatting with fans in the Twitter Blue Room.

All Australian selector Matthew Richardson turned host as some of the players jumped in the hot seat to answer some heavy – and not so heavy – questions from footy fans.

Always a big talking point on social media, the #AllAustralian hashtag was among the top five trending topics around the world overnight as the public discussed those who did and didn’t make the final 22.
