BRISBANE has had a huge win at the AFL Appeal Board on Thursday night, with its last-ditch effort to have Lachie Neale cleared to play in Saturday's Grand Final a success.
The Appeal Board cited Neale's "exemplary" record of having never previously been suspended in 320 games in the reason for its decision to overturn his one-match ban, freeing him to play on Saturday under the provision of "exceptional and compelling circumstances".
