MAX Gawn has become just the fourth player in Melbourne's history to win four best and fairests after claiming the 2026 Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Memorial Trophy on Friday night.

Gawn amassed 680 votes to finish well clear of Kysaiah Pickett (611)in second place, with Tom Sparrow (545) rounding out the podium.

Kade Chander (537) was just behind Sparrow in fourth, while former St Kilda captain Jack Steele (526) came fifth after an excellent first season in red and blue.

Gawn's 'Bluey' victory capped an outstanding year in which he claimed a record ninth All-Australian blazer and was named captain of the All-Australian team.

He also finished fourth in the Brownlow Medal with 28 votes and became the Demons' all-time leading Brownlow vote-getter.

Gawn joins fellow Demons champions Allan La Fontaine, Jim Stynes and Clayton Oliver as winners of four club champion awards, which is the most by any player in the club's history. 

Koltyn Tholstrup, who finished sixth in the B&F count after a breakout season, was awarded the Demons' best young player as well as the club ambassador award, while Jack Steele won the leadership award.
