The Tigers have parted with their 2027 round one pick, 2027 round two pick, 2027 round pick and pick 22 this year.

It means Richmond now holds picks two picks in the top five.

While the 2027 draft is compromised by Tasmania's participation, the Tigers' future first could still be among the top few picks.

Port now holds three first-round picks next year as it prepares to match bids on father-son prospect Louis Salopek and Academy prospect Zemes Pilot.

"To have the opportunity to pick two players at the very front end of this year's draft is exciting for us and gives us a chance to further bolster the talent on our list before Tasmania's concessions take over next year," Richmond executive general manager of football talent Blair Hartley said.

"The 2027 draft is set to be significantly compromised, so it made strategic sense for us to take this approach."
