VETERAN forward Jake Stringer will land at his fourth club next month, with St Kilda announcing it will sign the 32-year-old as a delisted free agent.

Stringer will make the move to Moorabbin after booting 48 goals for Greater Western Sydney this season, finishing as the Giants' leading goalkicker.

Stringer's exit from the Giants was confirmed in August, with the former Western Bulldogs and Essendon forward saying he was keen to return to Melbourne for family reasons.

He spent two seasons at the Giants and produced his most prolific campaign since his 2015 All-Australian season this year, kicking 48 goals from 23 matches.

"Jake has a proven ability to hit the scoreboard and we believe he can add another dimension to our forward line," Saints footy boss Lenny Hayes said.

"Jake's experience and goal kicking ability will complement the talent we already have while giving us greater flexibility and depth in attack."

The delisted free agency window will open on November 2.

Stringer's arrival at St Kilda comes amid significant change at the Giants, with a number of senior players departing the club after a topsy-turvy 2026 campaign.

Skipper Toby Greene, ruck Kieren Briggs, Coleman medallist Jesse Hogan and veteran defender Lachie Whitfield all departed the Giants in the trade and free agency period.

The Giants finished the 2026 season with a 10-13 record and in 12th on the ladder.

Stringer, a former top-five pick, has played 250 games across the Bulldogs, Bombers and Giants, kicking 440 goals.
