WILL the Prespakises become the first sisters to each win an AFLW best-and-fairest medal?

After Maddy's success in 2020, Georgie is tracking to be a legitimate threat at this year's vote count.

The Collier brothers – Albert and Harry – are the only pair of brothers to have won Brownlow medals back in 1929 and 1930, with the latter's awarded retrospectively once tied winners were allowed.

AFL.com.au's AFLW best and fairest tracker has Georgie Prespakis trailing Jasmine Garner by just one vote, with two rounds of the season remaining.

Both players will be first-time winners if either salute on November 23.

Gold Coast midfield bull Charlie Rowbottom also remains well and truly in the frame for a potential first League best-and-fairest medal (third on the tracker, but five votes behind second-placed Prespakis), while a few too many West Coast losses could ultimately cost Ella Roberts.

Former winners Ebony Marinoff (2024) and Kiara Bowers (2021) are also expected to poll well this year.
