Adelaide's draft haul: recruiter's verdict

The draft dissected: 2013's winners A wrap-up of the 2013 NAB AFL Draft
What the club says
"We're really pleased, obviously just two picks but don't forget the two upgrades. We continue to add to the midfield with Riley Knight ticking some boxes in relation to outside speed, which we are addressing. If you put them together; ball winning capacity, running capacity and defence, it's a lot of hard work for just two picks." David Noble, list manager

Pick 23 – Matt Crouch
"We liked him as a 17-year-old and we've watched a lot of him so his footy stands up on its own rather than being a Matt and Brad [Crouch, his brother is on the Crows list] combination, [however] we think they both complement each other. Brad has got power off the mark and is a great decision maker particularly under pressure." David Noble

46 – Riley Knight
'He has elite endurance, great runner, very diligent and adds some speed to us which we need to continue to build. His character is shown with his preparedness to work beyond normal fitness levels and he won't leave any stone unturned." David Noble.

76 – Kyle Hartigan (promoted rookie)

86 – Rory Laird (promoted rookie)
