ADELAIDE skipper Taylor Walker could face a stint on the sidelines after sustaining a left hamstring injury in Saturday night's clash with Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval.

Walker came off the ground in the second quarter and was put through a fitness test before he was ruled out for the rest of the game.

The Crows tweeted that Walker – who kicked two goals in the first half - would sit out the second half with hamstring awareness as a precaution.

The Crows have had several hamstring injuries this season.

All Australian forward Eddie Betts, Kyle Cheney, Sam Gibson and Kyle Hartigan are currently out with hamstring injuries, while Matt Crouch missed three weeks with a hamstring injury before returning against the Suns.
