THE AFL has announced the fixture for weeks two and three of the 2018 Toyota AFL Finals Series.

Hawthorn and Collingwood will host MCG semi-finals next week against Melbourne and Greater Western Sydney respectively, while Richmond will play its preliminary final on the following Friday night.

The start time for West Coast's preliminary final is still to be determined.


Week two and three Toyota AFL Finals Series

Friday, September 14

First semi-final 
Hawthorn v Melbourne at the MCG, 7.50pm AEST

Saturday, September 15

Second semi-final 
Collingwood v Greater Western Sydney at the MCG, 7.25pm AEST 

Friday, September 21

First preliminary final
Richmond v winner of second semi-final (Collingwood or GWS) at the MCG, 7.50pm

Saturday, September 22

Second Preliminary Final
West Coast v winner of first semi-final (Hawthorn or Melbourne) at Optus Stadium, time tbc


The AFL executive responsible for the fixture, Travis Auld, said the starting time for the Eagles' final will depend on travel requirements of their Melbourne-based opponent.

Auld also said Richmond has been given what could be an extra day's break heading into the Grand Final as a reward for finishing top in the home and away season.
