WITH so much uncertainly and differing strategies involving holding injured premiums, many coaches were torn in regard to what to do with Patrick Dangerfield this week given the uncertainty surrounding his availability.  As it turned out, a hold was the way to go as the superstar Cat took the field and managed to score just short of triple figures despite his heavily strapped knee.

Fantasy Pig

Clayton Oliver went full beast mode against the Suns, taking advantage of their point-leaking game style with a monster 161. The hard-working Demon laid a whopping 15 tackles and collected 38 possessions to reward his eight per cent of coaches with a round high score. He is in fine form with a low score of 97 in his last five games.

Honourable mention: Tom Rockliff and Brodie Grundy showed why one is a Pig and the other is in the conversation after dominating in their respective games for 149. Rocky has had his share of critics this season, but they were very quiet after he dominated with 41 possessions, six marks and six tackles including a masterclass in the second half with 89. You can't keep a good pig down. Grundy continued the tradition of high scoring rucks against the Blues this year but took it to the next level with 25 touches, eight marks, two goals and 48 hit-outs in a dominant performance.

NINE THINGS WE LEARNED  Dons face another wasted season

Rage Trades

Angus Brayshaw owners have had enough and will likely not only rage trade this week but go through with it as a finalised transaction. The frustration of watching the high-scoring midfielder play a variety of positions is one thing, but to only score 76 against the Suns is inexcusable, regardless of the position. He managed only nine kicks among 23 possessions with three marks, a far cry from the 27-possession, eight-mark, 10-tackle and a goal performance for 143 he had against them in his most recent matchup.

Honourable mention: Tom Atkins was hampered by a hamstring issue that occurred in the first half but managed to push through to some extent, eventually playing 50 per cent game time. The successful cash cow could only manage to score two points for the game however, recording four handballs and two frees against, leaving him with a big break even.

Piglet

Jay Lockhart is on fire, backing up last week's piglet nomination with another awesome performance for his coaches after collecting 19 possessions and taking an impressive nine marks on his way to 92. His red-hot form makes the DPP one of the most fruitful cash cows available.

No truth in that mate, if they take the field, you get their score.

The Balt is heating up. It will be interesting to see what role he plays next week if Nank misses.

Oh, the humanity.
