SYDNEY has granted a reprieve to high-profile recruit Daniel Menzel after initially dropping him for Sunday's meeting with West Coast at the SCG.
In a late twist, the Swans changed their 22 on Friday afternoon after losing Will Hayward to a calf strain, bringing Menzel back into the line-up.

Meanwhile, mystery surrounds Eagles wrecking ball Elliot Yeo, who has been named despite not being spotted at Perth Airport as they flew out on Friday.
West Coast has already lost dependable skipper Shannon Hurn (hamstring) and emerging forward Oscar Allen (ankle), with Josh Rotham and ruckman Tom Hickey coming in as replacements.
Adding to the intrigue, emergencies Josh Smith and Brendon Ah Chee have reportedly travelled with the side, intensifying speculation of a late change.

It could be Ah Chee's first game since round 22 last year, when he played eight games following a switch from Port Adelaide in search of more midfield opportunities.
Ex-Pies utility Smith made his club debut in round two against the Giants, picking up 13 touches, but was dropped the following week to accommodate returning star Andrew Gaff.
Yeo has been in superb form, with the two-time reigning club champion's physicality and tackling a catalyst for the Eagles' revival and five-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Sydney has made two changes after going down to Geelong at GMHBA Stadium, with Robbie Fox (ankle) making way alongside Hayward (calf), instead of Menzel.
The Swans signed Menzel as a delisted free agent after last season, believing the former Cat could relieve pressure on superstar Lance Franklin in attack.

After overcoming more groin trouble, Menzel made his Sydney debut against his old club last round, booting one goal from seven disposals, but has been left out for the Eagles clash.
Another ex-Cat, Jackson Thurlow, is back into the side after being omitted last round, while James Rose is in for his first game for 2019.
Sydney is out of the finals race at 3-8, however the Eagles (8-3) can hang onto their top four spot if they break a seven-game losing run to the Swans on their home deck stretching back to 1999.
