EIGHT fines have been dished out by the Match Review Officer, including three for contact made with umpires, following a relatively quiet round 15 for Michael Christian.

As expected, Melbourne defender Christian Salem has no case to answer following a collision that left Brisbane big man Oscar McInerney with a concussion.

However, Gold Coast co-captain Jarrod Witts wasn't so lucky, fined $2000 for striking following a late blow to Sydney youngster Nick Blakey on Saturday.

Travis Boak ($1000) and Nat Fyfe ($1000) were both handed misconduct fines for pushing respective opponents into an umpire, while Jade Gresham ($2500) was fined following a third offence for making careless contact with an umpire.

Elsewhere, Jamie Cripps was fined $1500 for striking James Sicily on Saturday, while David Mundy was sanctioned $2000 for striking Ed Curnow on Sunday evening.

Essendon pair Conor McKenna and Shaun McKernan had already accepted fines worth $2000 each for striking and rough conduct respectively from Thursday night.
