TEAMS: Tiger's shock axing, Giants lose five, big Hawks back

Toughest round of the year: Tips split, upsets galore Wayne Carey and Campbell Brown preview round 22

RISING Star contender Sydney Stack has been left out of Richmond's side for the potential Grand Final preview against West Coast, making way for returning superstar Dustin Martin.

Elsewhere, Greater Western Sydney has axed three – including retiring big man Dawson Simpson – on top of losing outgoing veteran Brett Deledio (calf) and Coleman Medal leader Jeremy Cameron (hamstring).

The Tigers have won seven straight and had the luxury of recalling Martin, who is back from soreness for an MCG blockbuster.

The Brownlow medallist replaces Stack, who will miss just his second game since making his debut in round three.

Martin is joined in the line-up by Ivan Soldo after experienced ruck Toby Nankervis was withdrawn with groin soreness.

The Eagles need to win both their remaining matches to secure a top-two spot, and will go in unchanged from their win over Adelaide.

The reigning premiers are hunting a record six-straight wins by a non-Victorian side at the MCG.

Luke Beveridge is also backing the same 22 who dismantled Essendon to get the job done for the Western Bulldogs at Giants Stadium.

The Dogs must win their remaining games to sneak into the eight and will face a GWS outfit coming off a disastrous loss to Hawthorn in the snow.

The Giants welcome back brilliant midfielder Josh Kelly, tough nut Matt de Boer, Harry Himmelberg and Aidan Corr, and have named Zach Sproule to debut.

Out go omitted trio Aiden Bonar, Jackson Hately and Simpson, alongside Deledio and Cameron.

In Sunday's final game, Hawthorn has regained star forward Jack Gunston and ruckman Ben McEvoy for champion Jarryd Roughead's home farewell at Marvel Stadium against Gold Coast.

Tall forward Mitch Lewis misses through injury, while Daniel Howe has been managed and James Cousins was dropped.

The Suns have added ex-Cats duo George Horlin-Smith and Jordan Murdoch, with Anthony Miles out injured and Jacob Heron omitted coming off their 16th-straight defeat to Brisbane.
