FREE agent Jamie Elliott has been spotted at Brisbane the day after Collingwood's best and fairest awards.

AFL.com.au reported on Friday the Lions were interested in the high-flying 27-year-old forward, and Channel Seven cameras captured Elliott touring the Lions' headquarters the following day.

Elliott, who appears to have shaken off the hamstring issues which decimated his 2018 season, is interested in a longer deal than the two years it is believed the Pies have offered.

Brisbane isn't the only club in the hunt for the goalsneak, with Melbourne having also confirmed it has offered Elliott a three-year contract.

Hawthorn had also been connected to Elliott but denied its interest on Friday.

"I heard us linked with Jamie Elliott but we haven't spoken to him and his management," Hawks head of football Graham Wright told hawthornfc.com.au.

"Rumours go all over the place at this time of year and you can't control it and if you try to answer them all it becomes a nightmare as well."
