WEST Coast's big men stocks are slowly on the rise with ruckmen Tom Hickey and Nathan Vardy, along with tall forward Oscar Allen, making their way back from injury lay-offs.

The Eagles are hopeful Hickey will be back on the ground next week as he builds through his rehab program after sustaining a calf injury a couple of weeks ago.

Hickey played 20 games for the Eagles last year in his first season at the club after coming across from St Kilda at the end of 2018.

The 28-year-old is on track to play his 100th career game in round one against Melbourne at Optus Stadium.

Vardy, 28, underwent a minor cleanout of his ankle before Christmas and has returned to rehab running on the ground.

Allen – who had minor knee surgery in the off-season – also had a hernia repair before Christmas.

The 20-year-old has returned to rehab running.

Midfielder Brendon Ah Chee is on the mend after having minor knee surgery and will return to the training track on Friday.
