The Giants' huge week one win over Sydney, followed by a hard-fought win over Grand Final foe Richmond, gave them the biggest percentage of the seven undefeated teams after all 18 clubs played their two games.

Gold Coast and Melbourne, which filled the last two spots on the 2019 ladder, rounded out the top three behind GWS.

Fellow undefeated trio Fremantle, St Kilda and Port Adelaide will all seek instant improvement on their underwhelming 2019 seasons.

At the other end of the unofficial ladder, Sydney and Carlton both have some work ahead of them, while reigning premier Richmond will be quietly confident of another strong year despite finishing in the pre-season's bottom four.

And despite failing to win a Marsh game, West Coast's percentage of 94.0 says the Eagles aren't a long way off finding their form after narrow losses to the Dockers and Bombers.
