Sydney: Jordan Foote replaced in selected side by Aliir Aliir

FINAL INTERCHANGES
Western Bulldogs: Matthew Boyd, Shane Biggs, Caleb Daniel, Lin Jong
Sydney: Harry Cunningham, Jeremy Laidler, Nic Newman, Robbie Fox

ALIIR Aliir is a late inclusion in Sydney's team for Friday night's Grand Final replay against the Western Bulldogs, having replaced Jordan Foote in the selected 22.

It's understood Foote, 183cm, is not injured, with the Swans deciding they needed Aliir's height (194cm) against a Dogs' forward line containing Travis Cloke, Tom Boyd, Stewart Crameri and Jake Stringer.

The Bulldogs named an unchanged team for their first clash against the Swans since their 2016 premiership triumph.

Aliir missed last year's Grand Final with a knee injury he suffered in the preliminary final victory over Geelong.

The Sudanese-born defender established himself in the Swans' backline in the second half of last season, impressing with his athleticism and vastly improved game sense.

Aliir did not miss a game from round 16 last season until his knee injury.
