MEDIA RELEASE FROM THE AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The deadline for the NAB AFL Delisted Player Free Agency period was 2pm today, Wednesday November 12. It was also the deadline for any player wishing to remove himself from an AFL club list.
The Australian Football League wishes to advise the following paperwork was formally lodged with the league before today’s deadline:
Please note that the selection order for the 2014 NAB AFL Draft is not finalised until the second list lodgement period is concluded on Thursday November 13. Please also find attached below the remaining key dates in the Draft process.
Player Removal from AFL club List:
1. Jason Tutt (Western Bulldogs) removed himself from the club primary list and will now nominate for the Draft of his choice.
Final Complete List of Delisted Free Agents:
7. Melbourne has made an offer to Delisted Free Agent Ben Newton (Port Adelaide). Ben Newton is now able to join the club immediately.
6. Western Bulldogs have made an offer to Delisted Free Agent Joel Hamling (Geelong Cats). Joel Hamling is now able to join the club immediately.
5. Carlton has made an offer to Delisted Free Agent Matthew Dick (Sydney Swans). Matthew Dick is now able to join the club immediately.
4. Richmond has made an offer to Delisted Free Agent Taylor Hunt (Geelong Cats). Taylor Hunt is now able to join the club immediately.
3. Geelong Cats have made an offer to Delisted Free Agent Sam Blease (Melbourne). Sam Blease is now able to join the club immediately.
2. St Kilda has made an offer to Delisted Free Agent Tim Membrey (Sydney Swans). Tim Membrey is now able to join the club immediately.
1. Brisbane Lions have made an offer to Delisted Free Agent Mitch Robinson (Carlton). Mitch Robinson is now able to join the club immediately.

Wednesday 19 November - Delisted Primary List Draft Nomination Form Lodgement; Non–Retained Rookie Players Draft Nomination Form Lodgement; Players Not Registered or Played for Three years Rookie Nomination. NAB AFL Delisted Player Free Agency Period (2) Closes.
Thursday 27 November – (CONFIRMED DATE) - NAB AFL Draft Selection Meeting (Gold Coast Convention Centre).
Friday November 28 – NAB AFL Delisted Free Agency Period (3) Commences.
Monday December 1 - NABAFL Delisted Player Free Agency Period (3) Concludes. AFL Club List Lodgement (3) and TPP Estimates.
International Players Inclusion on Rookie List Form; Scholarship Players Rookie List Form Lodged; Father-Son and Academy Pre-Selected Rookie Nominations.
Wednesday December 3 - NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft Selection Meeting (11am, Telstra Webex); Notification of Pre-Selected Rookies Nominated on Monday November 25 if not selected in the Pre-Season Draft (11.05am); NAB AFL Rookie Draft Selection Meeting (11.10am, Telstra Webex).
Friday 5 December – Final Club List Lodgement.
Friday 12 December by 2pm - International Players Inclusion on Rookie List.
