WEST Coast games record-holder Dean Cox has handed his famous No.20 jumper to emerging key-position player Jeremy McGovern.
Cox retired at the end of last season after 290 matches for the Eagles.
The ruckman won a premiership, a best and fairest and was named All Australian six times while wearing the No.20 and he has nominated McGovern as his successor.
McGovern played 13 matches last season and impressed many with his ability to play both forward and back.
However, Darren Glass' No.23 won't be worn in 2015 despite the long-time Eagles skipper also retiring.
The club's four selections in last week's NAB AFL Draft have all been given their numbers.
Liam Duggan will wear No.14, Damien Cavka No.19, Tom Lamb No.28 and Jackson Nelson No.30.
Father-son recruit Alec Waterman will wear No.42, previously worn by McGovern.
Waterman's father, Chris, wore Nos. 31 and 39 during his 177-game career. Those two numbers currently belong to Will Schofield and Malcolm Karpany, respectively.
Former baseballer and now Eagles rookie Corey Adamson will wear No. 45, Irishman Paddy Brophy will wear No.46, while Kane Lucas will wear No.47 after wearing No.9 at Carlton.
