CARLTON vice-captain Kade Simpson has re-signed for another two years, tying himself to the Blues to the end of 2016.
The Blues announced Simpson's re-signing on Friday night and have now re-signed three of their seven 2014 free agents.
Simpson was set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, but joins fellow free agents Andrew Walker and captain Marc Murphy in recommitting to Carlton.
The Blues now have just Bryce Gibbs (restricted), Jarrad Waite, Michael Jamison and Heath Scotland remaining as prospective free agents.
Simpson, 29, has played 201 games for the Blues since debuting in 2003.
He won Carlton's best and fairest award last season.
