CARLTON and Collingwood have each made two changes to their final teams ahead of Friday night's blockbuster clash at the MCG.

As forecast, Blues forward Jarrad Waite was withdrawn late with a hamstring complaint, while midfielder Andrew Carrazzo (back spasms) will not return after missing last week's clash against West Coast.

As a result, midfielder Sam Docherty will make his debut for the Blues after being snared from the Brisbane Lions during last year's trade period.

Big-bodied midfielder Tom Bell also comes into the team for his fifth game this season, with Troy Menzel to start as the substitute.

At Collingwood, Clinton Young has failed to overcome a corked calf and was withdrawn late, while defender Nick Maxwell will miss through injury.

Coming into the team are midfielder Taylor Adams and youngster Ben Kennedy, who will start as the substitute.

Marley Williams will start on the ground in his first game for the year after being found guilty of grievous bodily harm.
