Footy fans can bid for a commissioned painting depicting the 2013 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

Painted by Samantha Lord, it captures the atmosphere from the perspective of the MCG Olympic Room, where the AFL official function was held.

The painting depicts a full Southern Stand and Hawthorn and Fremantle players in action on the field. More than 25 VIP's appear at the bottom of the painting including politicians, commissioners and past greats including; Kevin Bartlett, Peter Hudson, Kevin Sheedy, Leigh Matthews, Tony Abbott, Ricky Pointing, Andrew Demetriou and Mike Sheahan.

The final score appears on the scoreboard.

The painting will be auctioned online and proceeds will go to the AFL’s official charity, Ladder – which addresses youth homelessness. Auction is currently live and bids can be made here:  www.afl.com.au/shop

The auction will run until 5pm Wednesday October 30.
