IN YEARS to come there will be a question asked about Tom Green: just how did he manage to get to pick 10 in his NAB AFL Draft?
RISING STARS Find out who else has been nominated
In fact, it's a question that was asked that evening last November as Greater Western Sydney secured the talented midfielder, and was again posed last Friday night as Green put in a brilliant effort to help guide the Giants to their tight win over Collingwood.
So good was Green's showing that the 19-year-old has claimed the week four NAB AFL Rising Star nomination, capping an impressive weekend for the club as it bounced back from a poor loss to the Western Bulldogs.
Green was excellent when it mattered against the star-studded Magpies' midfield unit, with some important and composed disposals late in the two-point win at Giants Stadium.

He finished with 18 touches, seven clearances and a goal in his second game, with the midfielder staking a claim to be a permanent part of the Giants' on-ball brigade. Green also polled two votes in the coaches' award for his game.
R4 COACHES' VOTES Check 'em out
Green, whose grandfather Michael played in four premierships with Richmond and is a member of the Tigers' team of the century, joined the Giants via the club's Academy last year after Carlton finally made a bid on him with pick No.10.
He played in the Giants' round one win over Geelong in March, but was left out of the side as it restarted its season in rounds two and three with former co-captain Callan Ward back in the line-up.
It's hard to see Green spending too much more time out of the side after last week's performance.
