Derek Eggmolesse-Smith rounds out the Tigers' inclusions, in place of stars Trent Cotchin (hamstring), Dion Prestia and Toby Nankervis (syndesmosis) and Bachar Houli and Shane Edwards, who remained in Melbourne.

In other selection news, former Giants skipper Callan Ward (general soreness) is back for the omitted Tommy Sheridan but Zac Fisher wasn't picked for Carlton after gastro ruled him out last week.

The Swans had already confirmed top-five draftee Dylan Stephens and bull-at-a-gate midfielder Chad Warner would make their AFL debut and they've also included Ryley Stoddart.

As reported earlier on Friday, Port Adelaide has dumped out-of-sorts ball magnet Tom Rockliff for its clash with in-form Greater Western Sydney at Metricon Stadium.

With Fisher not selected, the Blues opted to bring in Matthew Kennedy at youngster Sam Philp's expense for the second of the Metricon Stadium double-header against the Western Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs did as expected in instantly promoting Lachie Hunter after serving his four-game ban for alleged drink driving.
Louis Butler also comes in, with the Dogs losing Hayden Crozier to suspension and Lin Jong to a syndesmosis setback.
