Richmond midfielder Shane Edwards has recovered from a depressed cheekbone fracture and is available for selection in the Tiger team that will take on Sydney in next Sunday’s Round 12 encounter at the SCG.
Edwards sustained the injury in the Tigers’ Round 8 loss to the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium and he was sidelined for the following two matches.
The Club’s Elite Performance Manager, Matthew Hornsby confirmed that Edwards was now 100% fit and ready to resume playing.
“If we’d had a game last weekend, Shane would have played,” Hornsby said.
“He’s been training fully for the last week and a half, so there’s no question about his availability.”
Injured Adelaide defender Mark Keane joined Nat Edwards and Josh Gabelich to discuss his graphic leg injury, when he is likely to return and all the storylines ahead of the Crows’ clash with Carlton to kick off Gather Round on Thursday night.
