THE AFL has on Wednesday announced a fixture change to both round 11 and 12 of the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

The round 11 match between North Melbourne and Melbourne, has been moved from Blundstone Arena to Adelaide Oval.

This change is due to the recently announced extension of the border restrictions in to Tasmania by the Tasmanian Government.

Melbourne will now be the designated 'home' team. Melbourne play at Adelaide Oval in round 10 and will remain in Adelaide for the four days leading into the round 11 match vs North Melbourne.

The Round 12 match between Geelong and Port Adelaide, has been moved from the Gabba to Metricon Stadium.

This change has been made to ensure sufficient protection of the turf at the Gabba, noting there are three other matches at the Gabba during Round 12.
