HAWTHORN dasher Jarman Impey will make his AFL return against Carlton on Friday, barely a year after rupturing the ACL in his right knee.

Impey played scratch matches in each of the past three weeks in preparation for his comeback and is one of four Hawks returning from injury as they seek to end their four-match losing skid.

All-Australian forward Luke Breust (fractured jaw), key forward Tim O'Brien (ankle) and ruckman Jon Ceglar (fractured toe) join Impey back in the team.

Mitch Lewis, Josh Morris, Darren Minchington and Keegan Brooksby make way.

The Blues swapped one big forward for another, with Harry McKay fit again after a knee setback but Mitch McGovern (hamstring) heading onto the sidelines.
