The AFL advises the Match Review of last night’s matches has been completed. Two charges were laid.

Charges Laid:
Charlie Cameron, Brisbane Lions, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Martin Gleeson, Essendon, during the first quarter of the Round Nine match between Essendon and the Brisbane Lions, played at Metricon Stadium on Friday July 31.
 
In summary he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
 
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Low Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a $1500 sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
 
Tom Cutler, Essendon, has been charged with Rough Conduct (Dangerous Tackle) on Alex Witherden, Brisbane Lions, during the second quarter of the Round Nine match between Essendon and the Brisbane Lions, played at Metricon Stadium on Friday July 31.
