CAMERON Rayner's run of 55 consecutive games will come to an end after he suffered a hamstring injury in the loss to Richmond at Metricon Stadium on Tuesday night.

The No.1 pick from the 2017 NAB AFL Draft made his debut in round one of 2018 and has played every game since.

He was unable to take the field in the second half against the Tigers and scans have revealed a hamstring strain that could sideline him for up to a month.

"There's a little bit of damage there so we are probably looking at three to four weeks," high performance manager Damien Austin said.

"He has pulled up pretty well but we will go by his symptoms and see how he goes."
