BRISBANE will turn to yet another relatively untested key-position hopeful for Saturday's clash against the Western Bulldogs, with rookie Matt Eagles returning for his first appearance in more than two years.

Eagles, who won Foxtel's 'The Recruit' reality TV show in 2016 to earn a spot on an AFL list, is one of four inclusions for the Lions, who also regain veterans Daniel Rich and Grant Birchall, as well as key forward Dan McStay who returns from suspension.

Young trio Sam Skinner, Connor Ballenden and Jack Payne have all been dropped, while former No.1 draft pick Cam Rayner is forced out of the side due to injury.

The Western Bulldogs regain star young key forward Aaron Naughton for the clash at Gabba, while Bailey Dale and Ryan Gardner also return.

First-round draft pick Cody Weightman has been dropped alongside Roarke Smith, while intercept defender Hayden Crozier misses due to injury.

Richmond has dropped promising youngster Jack Higgins for its Saturday clash with Port Adelaide, while captain Trent Cotchin has been managed after returning from a hamstring injury.

Premiership duo Josh Caddy and Daniel Rioli return for the trip to the Adelaide Oval to face the ladder-leading Power side.

Port Adelaide has made two changes of its own, with veteran swingman Justin Westhoff dropped as emerging midfielder Sam Mayes serves his one-match suspension for a late bump on Josh Dunkley earlier this week.

Experienced ruckman Scott Lycett and young defender Jarrod Lienert return to the team.
