CARLTON will receive a major boost for Sir Doug Nicholls Round with prized recruit Jack Martin cleared to return from injury to face Gold Coast in Darwin on Friday night.
Martin missed just one match with a calf strain and will be joined ruckman Marc Pittonet back in the Blues' line-up as they push for a spot in the top eight.

The Suns have recalled rested co-captain David Swallow and Jarrod Harbrow for the club's first home match at TIO Stadium.
Sean Lemmens also wins his spot back, while last year's leading goalkicker Alex Sexton has again been dumped alongside midfielder Brayden Fiorini and Nick Holman.
Pittonet's return to tackle Suns co-captain Jarrod Witts will allow Tom De Koning to play in attack.
Matt Kennedy has failed to overcome his quad injury and last week's debutant Josh Honey has been dropped.
Paddy Dow, the No.3 pick in the 2017 NAB AFL Draft, has again missed selection and wasn't named as an emergency.
