BRISBANE will turn to 20-year-old Jack Payne to replace injured star defender Harris Andrews for Wednesday night's QClash.

Andrews injured his hamstring in Friday night's clash against Collingwood and is set to miss five to six weeks.

He will be joined on the sidelines by fellow defender Grant Birchall, who has been managed.

Birchall has played 12 of a possible 14 games so far this year and close to reaching a trigger for a contract extension.

Payne, who has only played on match in his career, takes on the big responsibility in the Lions' back six.  

The Lions were forced into a third change with young tall Tom Fullarton injured.

Ruckman Archie Smith returns despite Oscar McInerney's strong game against Brodie Grundy in round 15 and talented forward Lincoln McCarthy is back from his suspension.  

The Suns will go in unchanged after their round 14 win over the Kangaroos.

Despite having the bye in round 15, veteran Suns defender Jarrod Harbrow will miss another game with his shoulder injury.
