Match Day activities and entertainment
The Adelaide Football Club will pay a fitting farewell to Andrew McLeod, Simon Goodwin, Brett Burton and Trent Hentschel at this week’s match against St Kilda.
All four players will complete a Lap of Honour following the final siren, giving all supporters the opportunity to acknowledge their contribution to the Adelaide Crows.
Before the game the Superscreeen will show highlights of their careers commencing at 3.10pm.
Make sure you arrive at the footy early so that the kids can be entertained in ‘Claude’s World’ which will be situated on Max Basheer Reserve. Activities for the kids include the rock climbing wall, a jumping castle and face painters. All activities for the kids are free of charge.
The Crows Supporter Group will be firing up their famous sausage sizzle under the marquee on Max Basheer Reserve. Supporters are encouraged to pop in and buy a snag before heading into the ground.
Thanks to the home match sponsor Austral Bricks, the first 10,000 supporters through the gates will each receive a blow up Crows finger to wave around during the game. One lucky supporter spotted waving their Crows finger around before the game will win a $1,000 Austral Bricks voucher.
Major Partner Toyota will also be providing 10,000 placards paying tribute to our retiring players and another lucky supporter spotted waving their placard at half time will win a ride with the Hilux Heroes precision driving team at this year’s Royal Show.
As usual there will be the regular pre match activities including the Adelaide Casino t-shirt launcher and the raising of the 19th Man flag. The on ground activities kick off at 3.10pm.
One lucky fan spotted drinking a 600ml Coke at ¾ time will win a BBQ with the players at the end of the season.
Brooksy’s Good Guys Shed Party
Opening times: Shed opens at 6.00pm
After the Game: Live Band and a DJ playing after the game. Don't miss Neil Craig and the four retiring players who will be interviewed about an hour after the game. It is sure to be a great occasion and a fitting farewell to season 2010 and four Adelaide champions.
There will be a raffle with great prizes, replay of the game; this week win: a signed and framed Crows Guernsey; tickets are only $2. All you have to do is fill out a B.O.G form, write who you think was best and win some fantastic prizes. Mingle and have a beer with the players or match day staff and hopefully enjoy a great win.
Ticket info: With the introduction of the new Crows Shed in the Westpac Centre this year members are reminded of the following entry requirements for post match functions: The Crows Shed (Westpac Centre) Entry is open members who have purchased a Shed Season Pass, or people who have bought a daily Shed entry ticket. Members can gain entry by showing their Gold Shed membership card, Shed Season Pass or daily Shed ticket at the entrance. Shed Season passes are still available to purchase through the Member Service Centre and a limited number of daily Shed tickets will be available from two weeks prior to each game from CROWmania or by calling the Member Service Centre. Daily tickets will be available from the Member Service Centre pre-and post game for $5 for adults and $2 for children.
The Hanger: Members and supporters are advised of the following changes to The Hanger’s opening arrangements:
Due to minimal attendances the SANFL has advised of its decision to discontinue after-match functions at The Hanger for AFC home games. The Hanger will continue to be operational before every game subject to the usual arrangements.
We thank all members who have supported the post match functions at the venue however the SANFL has understandably cited concerns about the ongoing viability of the venue’s operations as the reason for the change.
