Monday 25 April

After having a restful break with my family over Easter, I was home watching the traditional big ANZAC Day clash - something I have been doing for many years now. It’s always a great match, which it was again this year.

Tuesday 26 April

Up early and at the Club by 8:30am for weights, followed by a football Development Group meeting with Paul Hudson.

A favorite lunch for the boys is Subway so we are lucky to have one just at the end of the road - I went up there with a few of the boys.

We then had a pre-training meeting at 12pm then a main training session, which was an open session to the pubic. Given it was a public holiday, there were lots of people at training.  I had a good opportunity to mix with the supporters and members after the session and sign some autographs and have a chat to our fans.

Wednesday 27 April

At the moment I am working with my Dad in his factory. He has just bought a forklift so we were stacking boxes on shelves and packing orders and shipping them out.
As I don’t have my forklift license, unfortunately I can’t get behind the wheel so I am the safety officer making sure no one gets run over!

I was then in at the Club at 5pm with the other Development (1st-3rd) year players for training.

Thursday 28 April

A similar day to Tuesday, another early start and I was at the Club again at 8:30am for weights then for a football Development Group meeting. This time we were learning how to use the Sports Code system - this is the system that codes all of our games to make them easier for us to review.

We had a catered lunch served by The Angels - the Saints Women’s Supporters Group - they are always friendly and helpful.

We had a pre-training meeting at 12pm then our main training session of the week.

Friday 29 April

Today I am working with Dad again and am going to head out for lunch with Mum at Doncaster Shopping Centre.

This evening all of the players that are playing for Sandringham this Sunday will be down at Trevor Barker Beach Oval to do a warm up and have a team meeting, so I’ll find out tonight if I am in the senior team or playing reserves this week.

Saturday 30 April

A day off - I’ll spend most of the day around home with my family and then watch the seniors play Adelaide at AAMI Stadium tomorrow night on TV and then straight to bed to get a good night’s sleep before the game.

Sunday 1 May

Game day! Hope to see you all down at Trevor Barker Beach Oval - Sandringham is playing Geelong - Reserves start at 11:00am with the Seniors at 2:00pm. Remember Saints members get in free!
