1: Buddy be good:
It has had more edits than Schindler's List and has more special effects than Star Wars.
It has been months in the making and years in negotiation but today, my friends, it has arrived: the Buddy video show – Buddy@.
Now don't expect any Schapelle-like shenanigans in this one; just good, clean Buddy fun (and maybe a bit of Buddy love). Check it out in the highlights section on the main page or click here
2: The name's Ablett - Nathan Ablett
James Bond might be a chameleon nowadays but its official - Nathan Ablett is back training at Geelong – unofficially. He is not actually doing footy training mind you. More just keeping in shape as he weighs up whether he wants to return to the big league.
The younger brother of Gazza stepped away from football in late November after kicking three goals in the Cats' Grand Final win. He has been travelling around Australia with friends but hopes remain high that he'll come back and play at the Cattery.
However, Geelong needs to know his intentions by October 31. Nathan, on behalf of all footy supporters: "Do want you want to do, be what you want to be (yeh)." That was a song before you were born in case you were wondering.
3: Western woes:
Can you believe the hard luck stories coming out of West Coast? Not only have they again lost a plethora of players David Wirrpanda (back), Sam Butler (groin) and Brett Jones (knee), but their timing is just awful on the flipside as well.
The Hawks have been able to bring back injured duo Shane Crawford and key defender Trent Croad. And the Hawks are coming off a loss which isn't great news. West Coast is also coming off a loss (135 points at home to reigning premiers Geelong).
4: Friday focus
Did you know that Hawthorn has had more inside 50s than its opposition in each of its past 14 games played at the MCG? Or that the Tigers have won the clearance count in six of their past seven games against Carlton.
Well our men from Champion Date do, You can check out all this and more in Friday Focus.
