North Melbourne coach Brad Scott has thanked over 4,000 fans that attended the club's Christmas celebrations at Aegis Park on Saturday.

Perfect weather made for a day to remember with members and supporters turning out in force to ring in the festive season.

"The players really appreciate the support that we always get. It's always great to see so many loyal supporters turn up and support the team," Scott said.

As always, the autograph tent proved popular with long queues awaiting signatures from Andrew Swallow, Brent Harvey and Drew Petrie, while there was plenty of attention for new recruits Tom Curran and Brad McKenzie.

Bob the Builder was a hit for the youngsters, and there were smiles aplenty with the giant slide, animal farm and footy clinics with Cam Pedersen, Todd Goldstein and Ben Mabon proving popular.

In number order the team was presented to an appreciative crowd, with the biggest cheers saved for last when Harvey and Scott took to the stage.
