The AFL, AFL Players’ Association and AFL Coaches Association have today announced a consolidated end of season awards program, the AFL Awards brought to you by NAB.

The major virtual event will be broadcast across Fox Footy, Kayo and via AFL Live Pass with thanks to Telstra on Thursday September 24 at 7:30pm EST.
 
In an unprecedented year, a consolidated, made for broadcast awards program will feature across one evening, direct to fans.
 
Hosted by Fox Footy’s Sarah Jones, the AFL Awards will feature;

  • 2020 AFL All Australian
  • 2020 NAB AFL Rising Star Award
  • AFL Players’ Most Valuable Player award, presented by Torrens University
  • 2020 Shadforth Financial Group AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year 
  • 2020 Coleman Medallist

NAB is the proud presenting partner of the 2020 AFL Awards.
 
General Manager of Commercial and Customer, Kylie Rogers, said the decision adapt the format, like that of the recent Brownlow Medal announcement, is the best way to honour the key achievements of the players and coaches across season 2020.
 
“Season 2020 has been like no other, and our 2020 awards season continues that trend.” Ms Rogers said.
 
“We are thrilled to be involved with the AFL Coaches Association and AFL Players’ Association to make this night an all encompassing awards night,
 
“While we won’t be able to roll out the multiple events across the finals, the AFL Awards night will be a great production for the fans and importantly honour the acheivements of the players across the season.”
