ADELAIDE forward Riley Knight headlines a trio of Crows delisted by the club on Wednesday.

A member of the club's losing 2017 Grand Final outfit, Knight added just one match to his tally of 55 this season due to an ongoing Achilles issue.

He joins midfielder Patrick Wilson and rookie defender Ayce Taylor in departing the Crows with further changes expected when list numbers are soon finalised by the AFL.

Wilson, 25, won the Crows' last two SANFL best and fairests and managed two AFL matches, while the 19-year-old Taylor joined as a pre-season signing ahead of this season after being overlooked in the draft.

It comes as the Crows appointed Hawthorn assistant Scott Burns as their new senior assistant for 2021 earlier in the day.

With Ben Hart and Michael Godden this week joining Marty Mattner in departing the Crows' coaching panel, Burns' appointment provides experience around senior coach Matthew Nicks as he enters his second year.

After 264 games for Collingwood, Burns has spent time as an assistant at West Coast, the Pies and the last three seasons under Alastair Clarkson at the Hawks.

The Crows are also facing a number of other list decisions with Ben Crocker, Jordan Gallucci, Kyle Hartigan, David Mackay and Myles Poholke among those without deals for 2021.
