GOLD Coast Academy prospect Brodie Lake has put in a standout showing at the South Australian NAB AFL Draft Combine to boost his draft stocks.

Lake is tied to the Suns through their Academy zone in the Northern Territory but has played under-18s and reserves level for Central Districts this season and was among the draft hopefuls to test this week.

Port Adelaide's father-son prospect Taj Schofield also tested well. The small forward/midfielder won the vertical jumps test and was also among the best performers for the sprint and agility tests. The son of 2004 Power premiership player, and current assistant coach Jarrad Schofield, finished in the top-five of all tests apart from the 2km time trial.

Potential first-round pick Brayden Cook was also impressive, showing his high-end jumping ability as well as finishing fourth overall for the 20 metre sprint.
