Burgoyne suspended by leaders
Peter Burgoyne will play for the Magpies this week after presenting himself in an unfit manner for training around a month ago.
The Port Adelaide Football Club advises that Peter Burgoyne has been suspended by the players’ leadership group for one week, after presenting himself in an unfit manner for training approximately a month ago.
The leadership group determined Burgoyne would serve his suspension once he was fit to play.
Accordingly, Burgoyne will line up for the Port Adelaide Magpies against South Adelaide at Noarlunga on Saturday.
He will be eligible for selection for the Power’s Round 18 match against St Kilda.
