GEELONG defender Max Rooke will miss this weekend's clash with the West Coast Eagles after accepting a one-match ban from the Match Review Panel.

Rooke risked a two-week suspension if he had taken the issue to the AFL Tribunal, but now he will be available for the Cats' finals campaign.

He was charged with rough conduct after a cash with North Melbourne's Sam Power in a marking contest on Sunday.

And North Melbourne's Michael Firrito has accepted his $900 fine for making an obscene gesture during the last quarter of the Geelong-North Melbourne match, which means the AFL Tribunal will not sit this week.
