It wasn't a day to remember for Lachlan Hansen on Saturday, but he was flying high before he collided heavily with the Mazda BT-50 signage and was stretchered off the ground.

Midway through the second quarter with the game still in the balance, Hansen lead for a Liam Anthony kick, before doubling back from the forward pocket. He then threw himself into a pack containing three opposition defenders and teammate Drew Petrie and beat them all to take a brilliant pack mark.

For his efforts, Hansen has been nominated for the Hungry Jack's AFL Mark of the Year award.
