THE WESTERN Bulldogs' wretched run with injuries has continued with Luke Dahlhaus ruled out for the remainder of their clash with Port Adelaide due to a first-quarter knee injury.

Dahlhaus left the ground after teammate Tom Campbell fell across his legs and did not return after the quarter-time break.

Trainers immediately strapped the 23-year-old's left knee and he spent the remainder of the first half on the back of the interchange bench with his tracksuit on.

He failed to take any further part in the game as the Dogs clinched a thrilling three-point win over the Power at Adelaide Oval.

Coach Luke Beveridge confirmed after the game Dahlhaus had strained the medial ligament in his left knee and was set for a stint on the sidelines.

The Dogs' chances took a blow before the match when in-form defender Marcus Adams withdrew with sickness.

Fellow defenders Robert Murphy (knee), Easton Wood (hamstring) and Jason Johannisen (hamstring) are also sidelined.
